# ImageFramer 4.9 introduces Oval designs

This release introduces oval frame designs — a major new feature that brings rounded, elliptical framing to ImageFramer. Oval support extends across color mats, molding frames, corner frames, shadows, and bevels, with realistic 3D-lit bevel edges. The release also includes important rendering fixes and improved reliability for frame library downloads.

- **IMPROVE:** Lightroom plugin now works with the Mac App Store version of ImageFramer
- **IMPROVE:** More reliable frame library downloads with better error recovery
- **IMPROVE:** Updated app icon with a fresh new look, designed for macOS 26
- **IMPROVE:** Improved look and feel on newer macOS versions
- **FIX:** Shadow blur now renders correctly after adjusting layers
- **FIX:** Fixed the app becoming unresponsive in some cases
- **FIX:** Undo/Redo fixes in Library Editor
