# Please Clarify Routine

We’re new here. Desperate. And hopeful.

Are the lessons meant to happen once a day?? In other words, do I do the 6 steps one time per day? Or as many as we can?

Hi Harry and Charla, you are correct!

Complete the steps once per day. It may not seem like a lot at first, but the length of steps will increase in time.

Can I do more than one a day if my dog manages a full six steps without problems? Thanks.

@Rolo Yes, it’s generally fine to do more than one session per day if your dog comfortably meets their session goal without showing signs of stress.  
However, ensure sessions are spaced apart by several hours, allowing your dog sufficient recovery and relaxation time between sessions. Always prioritize quality (keeping your dog calm and stress-free) over quantity.
