I’ve been using Eter on and off for many years, but I’ve always liked the app. Enough that I decided to buy the premium. Recently, I’ve noticed that an ad is played before some broadcasts. It doesn’t sound like an ad aired by the radio station itself, but rather like an ad inserted by the app.
The ad is always in my language (polish), even though the radio station im listening is in diffrent language. And these ads appear frequently.
If this is on Eter’s end why are you doing this to your users who paid for the app?

Eter doesn’t insert any ads ever. We don’t change the streams in any way.
Some stations have their own ads that they play before their regular station stream starts. I suppose that they have some agreements with ad providers and that’s why you hear ads in Polish.
You could try to open the same stream URL in, say, Safari, and see if you hear the same ad.
In any case, we don’t add ads not to free nor to paid users.
