We have created two workflows that integrate Trickster‘s latest files list with the fabulous productivity tool for the Mac –Alfred:
- Displaying up to 30 recent files from Trickster in Alfred
- Adding a file from Alfred to Trickster’s recent files list (bypassing Trickster’s own Watched Folders filters)
If you’re using both Trickster and Alfred, you should appreciate them.
Get Latest Files from Trickster
Running the first workflow, Get Latest Files from Trickster (click to go to the download page), will show 30 most recent files from Trickster in Alfred’s own list, so you can use your familiar Alfred interface for opening, browsing or other actions that you usually perform on files.
Hot Key for this workflow is set to ⌃⌥⌘Z (Control-Option-Command-Z) but you can change it after importing.
Add to Trickster
The second workflow, Add to Trickster file action (click to go to the download page) adds a new file action that adds a file from Alfred to Trickster’s recent list. May be useful if you want to come back to this file later.
